Whittier, Alaska, is just a short trip from Anchorage, approximately 1.25 hours from Anchorage. Prince William Sound Cruises & Tours offers vacation packages that include complete roundtrip transportation to Anchorage. If you choose to drive yourself, you will need to plan around the Whittier tunnel schedule and pay applicable tunnel fees.
