Mt. McKinley Flightseeing Tour

Talkeetna Culture and Heritage

Talkeetna Historical Society
This small museum packs in a lot about Talkeetna. There is a 3D display of the Alaska Range as well as lots of photos and exhibits about the towns bush flying and mountaineering heritage.

Talkeetna Hiking
There are a number of walking trails right from the Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge that provide great views of Mt. McKinley and a chance to experience the flora and fauna of the area up close.

Or, from downtown head toward the river where there are a number of trails that allow you to view the powerful and majestic confluence of the Susitna, Talkeetna, and Chulitna rivers.
