Enjoy a legendary Alaskan bush pilot in action and travel down the Tanana River, the world's greatest glacier river, on this exciting tour. On one stop you will visit the home and kennels of Iditarod champion, Susan Butcher. At another Native Alaskan Tours guides will take you on a personal guided tour of an authentic Athabascan Indian village. Throughout the adventure your friendly guides will share their Indian or Eskimo cultures with you. The boat features an open sun deck, and heated glass enclosed decks, making it comfortable in any weather. Two full service snack bars and gift shops are on board.

El Dorado Gold Mine Tour

Adventure into Fairbanks Gold Mining History! Join the Binkley family for a trip through Alaska's gold mining history at the EI Dorado Gold Mine. Ride the Tanana Valley Railroad into the gold fields of the Interior. You'll pass through a permafrost tunnel where Alaska's history comes alive. Take a walking tour of our mining camp. Meet and talk with Alaskan miners as you learn about present day placer mining methods. After a short course in gold mining, grab your own "poke" filled with pay dirt right out of the sluice box and try your hand at panning for gold. Everyone finds gold and gets to keep it!

Friends of Creamer's Field
This old dairy farm was purchased by Fairbanks residents in 1966 and turned into a wildlife refuge. There are guided nature walks and educational events throughout the year. Check their website for more information and the latest events.
